The LCS4730-SR is a professional grade LCD monitor specifically designed for applications with higher than normal ambient light conditions.  The LCS4730-SR features a unique ambient light enhancement technology which supplements the normal output of the LCD backlight by using ambient light and reflecting it back through the LCD.  This OptikView technology offers better contrast ratio and higher brightness during normal ambient light conditions than other sunlight readable monitors. During outdoor sunlight conditions OptikView offers enhanced contrast and enhanced brightness with no “wash out”. An added benefit of this technology is that it does not consume any additional power and does not generate extra heat.
